Just buy the stocks in the ETF - there's no sense in paying that ridiculous fee to gain exposure to an ETF like that.

Yeah it's acting really odd lately - goes back and forth between coupling and decoupling itself with risk on stock action. Have a feeling it will go up and meet the 100 day just north of 66K in the next couple days and get slapped back down to 62K and chop a little longer.

But it is primed for a big move I think in the relatively near future.

Yes and no.

But whatever is happening over there right now is impeding the flow of chicken wings through the strait of Hormuz.

So many better things to invest in than trying to catch the bottom on NKE. I think they still have headwinds.

NKE chart was looking hopeful for an up run if it held the June 26 low but after today I am staying away. As said above, too many other opportunities out there to go and chase this avalanche.

it's funny that DRAM has that ridiculously high fee...yet, RAM doesn't...so everybody should just load up on the 2x, LOLOL

The pendulum has fully swung to adidas, thanks to good leadership and managing at the market level and getting away from central governance for marketing and brand development. Adidas is no less woke, but they tend to be more targeted with their woke bs and not as headline grabbing.

I'm showing DRAM comes with a service fee for me if I want to buy (Fidelity) should that stop me? What would it depend on?

I see it in my Fidelity account , but wasn't charged that fee on Schwab. In case that helps.

It's a Fidelity specific fee.

its crazy to see On absolutely obliterate them. There was a time when everyone was wearing Nike. Now everyone is on On.

I like On shoes, but this is a bit much. Still probably see 10-15 Nikes for every 1 On shoe.

For us younger grads, I'd say I see 10 onclouds / hokas to one Nike.

I was going to say this as well. If it's Nike I only see Jordan's or Dunks. Otherwise On, Hola and others have taken a big chunk from them

I have seven pairs of On Cloud. Only shoes I wear anymore outside of boots. They're clean enough to wear with slacks for meetings and whenever I'm at conferences. Seeing more and more people wearing them with professional attire.

Just curious, why isn't anyone raising hell about the ongoing shoe blabber like it was with the political posts the other day? After all this is the investment/stock market thread, right?
Gaeilge
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Because both On (ONON) and Nike (NKE) are publicly traded companies and it speaks to shifting market share and demand.

In the endurance world NIKE shoes are a tier below.

On
Hoka
Asics
Are probably the top 3 brands.

Nike isn't just shoes, but it hasn't had game changing innovation in a while. They've been depending a ton on their legacy and retro fashion for footwear. While Adidas edged them put when Boost was being pushed then zero, then came along all the other brands that have been killing it. Gone is the time when they could slap a Swoosh logo on almost anything and it would sell. They have the NFL, NBA, MLB plus all the collegiate teams and European clubs.

Their yield is 4%? Under $35 and it becomes tempting. I can't imagine this ship not turning around long term.
Gaeilge

They've also been wrecked in the athleisure realm too. Lululemon, Alo, Rhoback, etc. have gained sizable market share and their DTC models with friendly return policies makes it hard to pull customers back.

I agree that they will bounce soon enough, but it's to what end and how high that bounce is that will keep me away.

I just think the consumers of today is so drastically different than the consumers of the 90s grabbing a Just Do It shirt off the Macy's rack.
