$250 and then adding more at $225 if it drops down there.

Can someone explain this after hours spike on xom? Just a yahoo finance glitch? A random share sold at $125?

I was told it is a glitch that they do that sometimes, I have seen it as well with other stocks. Correct me if I'm wrong.

From a Barron's article on the China matter:

Quote:

Overall, China is a relatively small driver for Nvidia at the moment. The company is restricted from selling its most advanced AI chips in the country. In the past four quarters, Nvidia's China revenue reached $13.5 billion, accounting for 12% of the company's global total, down from 21% a year earlier.

Yes, sorry for limited detail. Walked in into the United Club in SFO and there was a big headline on the tv saying "NVDA stock drops big after Chinese start investigation"

<3% is big these days huh?

If the Chinese invade Taiwan, that would be big.

CREX - If this one bottomed Monday, then it should hit $4.85 by February, if not sooner. Buy under $3, stop $2, net free between $4.75 and $5.25, sell out at $11 within a year or so.

Keep an eye on ADBE. I have $575 area as a potential top, and I would LOVE it to get there before market close tomorrow when they report earnings. I have a starter position on Jan puts, but I'm tempted to buy some weekly expiring calls.

Edit: Scratch that. Earnings volatility has already kicked in and these things are ridiculously expensive.

Over $405 and $400 will become my stop for TSLL with upper target $414. Once a top is formed and we get an initial move back down, I'll be buying TSLZ to play the correction.

Is quantum computing the next chip play?

Wouldn't be a bad idea to start looking at some companies involved there. A lot of tailwinds to biotech as well.

do you prefer TSLL over TSLT? both leveraged, but maybe TSLL has lower fees

yeah H&S, looks like 220 could be on the table. I'd be super happy if I could get back in to POWL down there.

Heineken - You think CLSK could go to $11? I've been swing trading it and it's been dropping to $13, then rising back up to $15 multiple times over the last month or so. It's now down to $13 which has been my entry point for these last few swing trades...

Yes. That's my area to add shares should it hold. IF it never gets there, I ride with what I have. If it breaks $10, I pucker.

I asked Grok which publicly traded companies would benefit from boring transportation?

    • Environmental Impact: There's a significant environmental angle here. Companies focused on reducing carbon footprints via innovative transport solutions could see a surge. This might indirectly benefit players like First Solar (FSLR) if solar-powered infrastructure becomes part of the equation.
    • Innovation: Investment in companies known for their R&D in tunneling, construction technology, or autonomous vehicle tech could be beneficial. Look at firms like AECOM (ACM) or Fluor Corporation (FLR) which might get contracts for advanced construction projects.
    • - Tesla (TSLA): Since the Boring Company's tunnels are designed for Tesla vehicles, any success in expanding tunnel networks would likely boost Tesla's stock. Think of it as a symbiotic relationship where Tesla cars get a new playground, and the Boring Company gets its star players.
    • NextEra Energy (NEE): If we're talking about expanding tunnel infrastructure, especially for electric vehicles, there'll be a higher demand for electricity. NextEra Energy, with its focus on renewable energy, could see benefits from this increased demand for clean power.
NEE chart looks like a turd, but I'll start looking into the others (not named TSLA).

TSLA is a perfect example of a major target and the action it takes to get there. EVERYONE is watching $414 as that's the ATH. There's a huge sell wall there from profit taking. And as it inches closer, you see the sellers step in. But buyers aren't giving up. This is classic classic classic action of a top incoming. There's no guarantee it hits, as buyers CAN exhaust themselves prior. But there's also potential sellers let the wall down and then trap buyers just above target, say $420. If you can't stomach the action and have been long, it would be wise to reduce your exposure. Can always add back.

Heineken-Ashi
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Out of TSLL - 20% gain in less than a week and made up for amount lost from having shares tied up with calls I sold at lower levels.

Now let's get a drop to $340 over the next weeks to months and then attack $500 next year.

Will alert if I grab TSLZ for a potential move down.

Yes, it could definitely extend. But I set targets and execute when they get hit. It's a levered ETF, so I don't mess around upon completion of thesis.

For anyone still in TSLL, can use a break of either of these lines to determine next move. Red = sell. Green = hold for $414 TSLA target.
