This green opening seems like an obvious green to red setup. Friday could be explained by MMs moving us up due to large put volume expiring. That gives us a nice looking RDR bullish pattern for TA, then move us up during lower volume over night session I'm order to create liquidity to sell back all those shares bought Friday afternoon. We've had several green overnights that sold off during the cash session recently so this repeats that pattern plus makes sense to me.
That said, just when you think everything makes sense the market does something completely different. I'm being cautious at the open, waiting to see what prices do at the top of the 5-min range or for a confirmed trend up.

I don't think it's that they hate America. I think they believe, correctly, that too much fossil fuel consumption is bad for the environment. That said, I think the tactics are stupid because we are still an O&G dependent world and will be for quite some time. I realize the ecological impact of battery mining as well.

I think there's a little from column a, little from column b. Probably saying "hates America" is incorrect. It's more hates the current version of America and thinks giving up our freedoms in order for the Government to take care of everyone would be a better system.

SPX and QQQ broke through Friday's highs. Now on to test the 5-days.

XOM having a nice run today (expected). New 52WH. About 1/3 of my position should be gone by the end of the week with $95 & $95.50 Covered Calls sold earlier and I have some sell orders at $95.50 for some oddball share lots. Should be a great week for XOM. I'm not calling a top at $95 or $95.50. I think it will take a rest, but who knows....it might trot to $100. I'll reload at $89 to $91.
BTI has been receiving positive media. One article stating $66.64 as fair value. I noted some time ago I am pretty heavy in BTI and have orders to sell about 1/3 of my position at just under $51, if it ever gets there!
