It'd be better if we opened deep red and flipped to green. However it does open, play the other side IMO.

That's how I set my trades up to end

One of the few times I'll hold a VIX put or call overnight -

Have aug 2 VIX 24P (entered the moment it touched over 25)
20 Aug 30 calls I entered this am (rolled profits from 50% of my puts on Friday)

with -2 ATR hit today, there's a good chance of a gap up... if history holds.

I went long before close with 7/21 425C with a hold at 423.37 for what seemed like forever. They ripped into close and I held some into tomorrow after we crossed 423.42 solidly. Flagging at 424.99 here.

The close had us nicely over the 50 EMA & SMA convergence.

Hoping for gap up to dump the balance then play the field.

I think we're done. maybe I'm in the minority here, but the last 6 times we've pulled back (SPY) to the 50 d ema we rebound (and pullback is over). credit to someone else, read that today, twitter probably.

Do you mind sharing your Fib setup? I've got different numbers than you for those lines.

But my study lines go back the whole 20 day period, while yours appear shorter too.
