In their release yesterday, management gave guidance of around $2.85 per share. They don't have a long track record of whether they are conservative or not, but so far so good on overshooting analyst expectation with conservative guidance. You wouldn't expect beats of this magnitude forever, but if they are in the $2.85 range with the growth potential of new retail and continuing to figure out and grow their internet sales I like the stock.

Trust me I am happy with the growth....but my point is that MARA is breaking ATH when BTC is 59-60k....higher than it was the last time BTC was at this level

but when BTC was 59-60 last time RIOT was in the $66-68 range and is about $53 now (about 20% lower)....

dont get me wrong....as I am pretty loaded up in miners (they are my biggest holdings outside of WWR, CLOV, TLRY, SNDL and DPW), I am happy with the improvement given the recent performance of all my crypto miners, but outside of RIOT, the others I hold like SOS, SINO, NXTD have not returned near where they were a week or two ago when BTC was at this level

I was just hoping to eek out some profits before end of day tomorrow

Crappy stocks update:

  • BTWN solid close, hoping it can work its way back to the mean
  • ASAN confirmed reversal, at last. it broke that descending trend line, hoping to ease out at 30.50
  • UPWK back at mean, breakout
  • OPEN weird butterfly doji, still in descending channel
  • MU earnings beat and up AH. let's see what happens
