Just got off the phone with Etrade. I exercised the leap options, and the guy that helped me said Monday was their highest volume traded day ever and today looks well on it's way to topping it.

I rolled the few Feb 7.50s to March 12.50s. Only a small % of my shares BUT I want these shares and not giving them up at $7.50. I remember WWR of a few weeks ago on expiration Friday when it was pegged at $5 and some got called away and some didn't. Spiked right after.

I really don't think any brokerage firm is intentionally trying to limit access. Outages kill business for them. This is simply every single investor hitting their positions all at once and the sites not being able to process or the trades between firms not being able to keep up.

Which is scary if they can't handle the additional volume of today. How do they handle a real black swan event?

Exercised. The bid/ask on the options was quite a bit off of what it should be, so I took the shares. It's not like I'm holding the options til 2023 with this run.
