Sticking with chips, AMAT may have reversed back up now and there's a big gap to fill up to 47+...Nov calls at 46 are only $0.35 and seem like they could be good value

Anyone else get in on NIO? I was busy and missed the IPO but picked up some shares at $10.50.

Chinese competitor to TSLA. IPO in the $6's and is racing upward.

I sold half at $13.47-$13.50. Day traders obviously all over it. Impossible to get any reading other than volume.

I saw it trending yesterday morning, but read so much negative stuff that I stayed away. I bet it'll get pumped an dumped a bunch. Looking at PYPL this morning for either Oct or a weekly.

I looked at it around the 7.15 mark and was reading some negative things and held off. Hadn't played an IPO before, so wasn't sure what to really think. Next thing I know, it was at 11. Definitely a miss!

NIO halted at $10.19 on volitialty circuit breaker.

Opened again and hit support $9.50 area jumping to $10.87 and halted again.

Halts last 5 minutes. No one knows how to value the shares.

Day traders nirvana. Look for the tail after trend down with peak volume over 2 million shares and enter. But exit before the halt. Ha!

See that support show again at $9.50? Until that gets broken its good for $0.50 cents. But sell at $10 IMO. I don't think it holds past 2 retests. This is for day traders.

Oh well, I further reduced long share holdings by 50 cents but dang! I could have gotten closer to net free selling here at $11.80.

RRTS jumped to $1.18 and is halted.

Only concern is if bankruptcy created desperate covering. Would be insider trading and a legal mess, so hope its good news.

Would low volume in general cause a jump like that? Noticing some stocks have lower volume as compared to Monday.
