Is anyone holding WORK through earnings today? I'm thinking I will. It should at least have good guidance. Since I don't do options, I got to stay the course or sell. I've learned a lot from this thread on options and I'm reading a book on 'em and I look forward to being able to play along

I started reading Carter's book as well this weekend. To piggy back on this book topic, are there any good podcasts dealing with technical analysis, setups, and the like? I'm looking for something to reinforce general trading 101 than I am specific stock picks or setups.

John Carter made 1.4mil on Tesla back in 2014 (I think) in 36 hours and bought a ranch in Wimberley



I believe he made a million during the trading day, and around 400k the next morning. He trades a 2m account and it's just fun to watch the stuff he trades!

Options seem to have a lot of flow through 7/17

Mid day shake out...hopefully just getting the weak hands out to continue up. 313 is in fact looking like strong resistance. May start getting short if we can climb up to that point again with July Puts or SPXS calls

I put an order in at $115 on TVIX, if I can average in a decent position around $100 I think that's a good hedge.

Yes, I know it's stupid to try and time a market pull back...but I think we get a good drop before Nov 3. With virus fears subsiding, I don't see Powell pumping the market up again unless he wants to do it for white guilt or something.

I was thinking of putting a cheap butterfly in place for December around 2400, just in case Biden wins. I think as we get closer to the election, if Trump re-election starts to look in doubt, the markets will not like it
