Good news!!

I'm certainly worried about the potential fall ala 2008 but I'm hoping the recovery/virus aspect to this market just makes it different. History repeats itself until it doesnt.

I'm hoping it repeats it's last cycle, which was 1.50's then down to .75, then back up to 1.50's/ 1.40's now. The dip to .75 was very brief, but heavily shorted then. .80 or under is my goal, but I won't know til I see it sort of thing.

I don't even get how that's possible? There were so little bids in at the time the sell came through that someone actually had a bid at .01 that was filled?

That's what I'm confused about. Seems aapl would always have bids to buy somewhere near the market price...

Edit: just realized this was a call option. I guess that would potentially have a few bids, then market sell order matched it

Yep call option with low volume it can happen

Also see some weird spikes in stocks during pre- or AH- trading because of low trading volume

Regardless, the volume was insane today. I'm not an expert on goalpost charts, but if you pull of the chart, there is a goalpost. I'll be buying on any weakness at the open for a trade.

A quick, easy, free way is to google "bigcharts". Go to advanced charts button and you can customize on the left side of the screen. I use "volume+" on one of those parameters.

It's not as in-depth as ones you have to pay for but it gives you a real quick glance to get and idea of what's happening.

They offer multiple parameters that you can set. It's a good source to play with and get introduced to technical analysis.
