I'm thinking once we hit 3100 SP I'm going to move back into bonds in my 401k and watch from the sidelines. Once Q2 results come out in July I figure we see our second dip.

Hey Ranger,

When you have time look into this a get back to me, please.

SDC chart looks pretty decent and all the bad news seems to be behind it. This, combined with the short interest, is why I thinking about nibbling on the 1/15/2021 $13c. Just purchasing some here and there with a small fraction of profits.

What do you think about this?

back in the lab starting last week, actually working on a SARS-CoV-2 project that got seed grant funding so no days off right now

For me personally, if I'm taking longer dated calls like leaps (although we are quickly approaching just six months out -- crazy) its really a company and story I believe in. Hard for me to say I "believe" in SDC right now, but there are several things I like about it. Like you said the chart looks like it'll pop soon to at least re-test $10, and I actually think COVID and the lockdown helps it -- less people wanting to go to the dentist or orthodontist and SDC seems to be upping their telehealth game. Also heavily shorted so any quick move up gonna see an extended move up as some cover their positions.

I'm also a little weary of it because when you have a battleground stock like SDC funny things happen -- we saw the NBC hit piece and people will find ways to play their games with it. Won't necessarily move on patterns or even company fundamentals like it should. Just hope you are on the right side of the trade although seems like they are trying to crater it, not shoot it up.

My best friend's brother works in finance in NYC....he has been directly involved in financing some competition to both ALGN and SDC...be on the lookout they love this company called Byte which will be a direct competitor. Way more involved with the tech and teledentistry to sell their products directly to you.

If I were playing it I'd go closer in the money and a round number like 10 C and be looking to sell quickly if it touches $10 again

If I'm reading Ranger's post correctly, then BYTE is verifying their financials and that's one of the steps a company has to do to go public, unless you're a Chinese coffee house. They'll be getting an underwriter and should file to go public in the future, perhaps 2021.
