I've got its channel upside at 98.38 and it's resistance at 88, not to mention, it's at barely half of what it was in March, with a lot of its locations in the south (where we've been less hard hit) seems like a ripe place for stimulus funds.

Buffett is not happy with FED prop up. Real reason is because without FED intervention, asset prices would be waaaay down and Buffett could have been a buyer.

I think we could, but I bought today and without the ability to stay over the 282, theta would eat up the rest of the premium trying to get there by EOD.

I have a lot of experience with this stock. And I've gotten bit by it several times. Viper Energy is a spinoff of FANG and holds its mineral interests and overrides. I think the stock is still overvalued when you compare the drop in price of the stock to the price of WTI. Its a great long term hold but not so great a trade imo.

I also read their 10Q and they have a senior note payment that was due today. Monday is their earnings announcement as well.

From Page 47 of their 10Q
"Lower prices may not only decrease our income, but also potentially the amount of oil and natural gas that our operators can produce economically. Lower oil and natural gas prices may also result in a reduction in the borrowing base under our credit agreement, which may be redetermined at the discretion of our lenders."

I have 100 5/15 9P which I bought for 60 cents. Lets see how it goes.

Also, today there were a bunch of December 1, 2 and 3 strike puts which were newly opened. Someone thinks this puppy is heading for BK or at least hedging for it.
Did anyone else join me in this trade? Puts are up 125%.

ER is today after-hours. So manage your risk accordingly.

FYI on SPY Put/Call. On move down near $280 I sold remaining daily Puts and bought the May 6 $283 Calls and on push at $282 I sold daily calls and entered May 6, $279 Puts

Volume alone tells you nothing. What was the OI as of last Friday? Could be someone closing out their position after the recent runnup.
