Sort of in the same vein - if you were to pull money from your 401K to use if you lost your job, etc, is there a certain amount of time it takes to hit your account or does that just vary by company? Have been wondering if it's like 30 days, maybe we see some impact there? But 401k's probably aren't an option if it's mostly service jobs being lost

401ks are generally settled at the end of the day of the change (for the markets sake), as for hitting the persons account, no idea on that one. The only time I did that (borrowed for a down payment on first house), the check showed up in less than a week.BenRev09 said:

To add to what an earlier poster mentioned. I've learned now you just can't bet against the trend and momentum short term. This is a great thread. My put idea for CADE goes completely against this "learning". Lol

7.50 5/15 calls have been working for me, easy to scalp for 15c and sell for 20-30c

I'm still bullish on Cade. Holding September and December $2.50 calls plus a couple thousand shares.
Most of their restaurants are QSR which are doing better than others. O&G book is much heavier midstream and downstream than upstream.
I'm rooting for a surprise to the upside. Emphasis on rooting and not fully expecting. Short term trading, anything goes. But long term, I believe they are a solid bank.

Do you think that's an accurate assessment at all? It'll be the decade mark here in another year or so since they started acquiring, Encore in particular for Houston market.

Had this craziness not started, I think they were on path for an MOE like First Horizon/Iberia, TCB/Independent, etc.
