Agreed, eventually. However, his timeframe and tone are much shorter than Mnuchin and others. It reminds me of him signing that Friday speech rally as if it was a bottom and beg of V. Doubt he would have said what he said today if S&P was below 2k with all fundamentals and CV news the exact same.
I like Trump and am happy he is in charge. But I have always been critical of him taking credit for short term stock performance, knowing it would come back to bite him in an election year, long bull run correction. Obviously never expected CV19. IMO, as POTUS, he should stick to taking credit for longer term economic policy.

I'm hearing from 4 different camps so one of them will be right, but I don't know which
1) This will be a prolonged bear market and we are headed to lower lows ( like Dow 15,000)
2) We will retest lows (18,000)
3) we will retest 21,000 then bounce higher
4) This is a V-shaped recovery. Any pullback is a buying opportunity.
Right now I'm most aligned with #3

My gut is telling me the same. I feel like we see a few days of green like this and then a couple weeks of red (with a few days of green sprinkled in). I'm looking for it to break under 20K into the 19's. where I'll begin cleaning up my allocations there. If we do retest 18K or even break under it I'll be moving other assets around to deploy more capital into buying on the way down.
