1000% agree. It does make sense in principle though. I've been backtesting this to see if it holds water. First couple hours weren't great. But, I think it might have some merit.

Can you imagine what would have happened if they would have missed?

Investors don't know how to digest a quality fiscal quarter in a rising rate environment. The bigger the beat the more the Fed is going to eff with fiscal 2019. I wonder how low P/E ratios will have to get before some sanity enters into the equation.

LULU option trade turned into a 4 bagger and JD option trade will make its way to 3rd base today.

And CAT, which was one of my listed "bet on Trump" stocks is lighting up on big earnings.

Market action around all these earning crushes will tell us a lot on priced in versus forward looking interest. We hold the bottom and keep sideways markets going would be a win.

Selling the tops off extended trading hours has been a winning strategy during earnings season.

lotsa downward pressure and a lot more volume has entered the market over the past few days(really starting in march)

I assume that this is in large part institutional money. Witnessing the movements realtime i'm just unsure of what they are doing.

Are they trying to squeeze long positions?

Maybe create a buying opportunity after paying the tax bill?

Is sentiment shifting to a bearish outlook on the FANGS?

Yeah, this is a pretty brutal selloff. Did Trump say something this morning that triggered it? I was busy this morning and didn't see what sparked this.

Yessir. Been hovering around 2.98-2.99 most of the day after hitting 3% this AM.

How is that significant enough that we have this sort of sell off? CAT crushed earnings and was up a good 4.5% now down 6.5%. This is slightly ridiculous ( I have no position in CAT, but was considering).
