I hope you're right. I'm keeping some powder dry for ROKU calls if it hits $100 or better. I'm just waiting on my pitch because that one has home run potential. IMO.oldarmy1 said:

I feel like we are only going to have extremes for awhile. Either up 2-3%/day or down. There will be no middle ground. Bulls win one day and bears win the next. Not really, just feels that way after the hard push at the close and then there was yesterday.oldarmy1 said:

Yup. Take advantage of the volatility while you can.
I would be shocked if we saw new highs before the election at this stage. Model T and then ranges above and below would be my best case scenario based on data right now.
So don't look for as many stocks breaking out to new highs. Covered calls at upper ranges are your friend. I could see a Darvis Box similar to 2016 form.

SPY is my main trade during these times because it moves directionally more so than other ETF's.
I sold covered calls yesterday $305's out to tomorrow. Those will deteriorate quickly if we open down or get close to strike and I can buy a cheap $309 call for tomorrow at some point doubling up on the gained premium.

opened account with e*trade. Spoke with customer service. If transfer >$10k, they will re-imburse any fees levied by RH to transfer account. Just send a receipt or screenshot of the charge, then contact customer service to get credit

This strategy worked well for me. I bought both a ~$600 priced call and put. Sold both at the same time this morning for a $500 net gain. It would have been higher if I waited a little longer, but that was around my target.
I had to do this trade on paper since RH was down yesterday.

We didn't fill the 3108 gap on the S&P yet.
