Interesting to read all the negative views. I certainly have no clue what's next but the head of energy at Wexford (hedge fund) said the market has priced in all this bad news - Saudi ramp, Israel cease fire, recession, etc, and the market is massively short. But those things aren't happening and he's expecting a reversal and is very bullish.
Or said another way, when it's obvious to all of us, it probably means we're wrong.

I know some very smart traders that are saying $50's in crude is possible. If that happens, your guy could be right ultimately and that being a very long term bottom.

With an infinite time horizon I am confident prices will be higher than today. As things stand without a step change in demand, if OPEC adds bbls to the market, it's difficult to see that story play out in the near term. It's a bit early in the cycle to start talking about the market being overly short to the point of being wrong.
The market is short bc there is ample supply and demand is flat/faltering.

Was the ET fire sabotage? See they say someone hit something in their easement, but its buried in news reports indicating Energy Transfer is responsible.
Investigation is ongoing. Rumor mill is saying an SUV was driving down the right of way, drove through the fence, and struck the valve site causing the rupture/ignition of the NGL pipeline. The driver is assumed to be dead, likely roasted inside the vehicle. Until they get the fire out and get into the site they won't be able to check out the car. None of this is confirmed.

All over the news here. The vehicle is some distance away from where the fire is at. I'm thinking a leak and was sparked by the suv. They had an incident years ago outside of B/CS where there was a leak from a storage facility and the gas settled low as it was a cold morning. Some lady was driving home from work and went into a dip on the road and BAM!!! Huge explosion. It rattled the windows of our house. Crazy….
Corrective action: Buy car made of beryllium copper so as to not cause sparks.
The vehicle hit the pipe and caused the leak and explosion.

Seems like you would have to be trying to drive that fast through a fence and down a gravel road or through dirt. I'm not sure about the 60-70 mph, but it certainly looked faster than the red truck on the road.
Certainly makes the intentionally trying to damage a pipeline believable.
Pretty sure it has been reported it was an elderly person.

In a previous life I used to work with their Director of Production and one of their Sr Production Engineers, quality people and solid engineers. I would assume both of them making the move to Magnolia meant they had overall good culture as those two guys were work life/family based oriented. Thats all I know.

I used to work with some of them many years ago when they were still at EnerVest. I believe all of Magnolia's assets are around the Austin Chalk area still, correct? All of the old EnerVest acreage that was spun off into Magnolia. They were good people that I worked with, don't know much else about Magnolia.
Anyone here work for Aramco? There's a position I am interested in applying for and would love to get my resume in front of the right person.
