Did anyone see Devon's Q1 operation report? They listed 2 wells with 24k (combined) BOE IP, pretty impressive.

24 hr IP of 12,000 BOE/d on 2 different wells in the Delaware. 80% liquids.

That's impressive. Wonder what kind of completion they put on those.

I'd like to say "Congrats" on the promotion to a probable poster on here who holds degrees from the maroon and burnt orange.

They said they were landed in the 2nd Bone Spring. That should be in the oil window. I'd love to know more details to see if it's legit.

Pretty sure those are instantaneous spot rates extrapolated to a per day equiv.

Holy shiet. I know there's ways to game the system, but that's one hell of a game

This reminded me of 2009 when Devon reported the highest ever 24 hr IP of a Haynesville well at 30+ mmcfpd. They announced the sale of all of their offshore and international assets shortly after. That well was making 2 mmcfpd just 3 months later.

So OTC had lower attendance than last years low. Didn't have any job seekers come by this time though. What was everyone's feeling from it? Seems like with how lean some companies are running right now that they didn't feel it necessary or too busy to make it.

There was absolutely an improvement to the vibe at OTC this year. Agree that there was much less people searching for jobs compared the the last 2-3 yrs.

Did not go but heard similar from co-workers. Fewer people but more conversations about real projects. Fewer hypotheticals.

This was my impression. There was a lot more buzz this year than the few previous.

$80 is nice but king term stability is more important. I think that a stable 70-80ish market holding those price levels for years is better for the health of everyone vs run ups to $120 then crashes to $50 on wild swings of geo-political and obama like jihads and overreactions .

I've pounded out that same thought several times on this thread. Anything around $65-$75 for 5+ years should be the goal.

I'll take $120 for a year please. $50 for a few more after that is fine as well. $70+ average with some volatility along the way is great for me.
