This talk about high 20s and low 30s at the end of 2017 is silly. This is the stuff that always happens when prices make a run down (or up)...people start talking about extremes. All of the doom articles start coming out because thats what people want to read. The truth is less exciting...average $45-55 for a while.
Give me $49.50 (WTI -Dec31)

My guesstimate is that oil will go down to either $40.64 or $37.18 during this current move down.

Sorry for the delay on price predictions, everyone. Been a crazy few weeks at work with a few major deadlines for my clients. Want to get these new prices recorded before we get too far into things.
I'll try to post results from last quarter up tonight - we as a group are honestly just as accurate as several banks... But overall much too positive last time, including a few huge outliers.
Predict the price at the end of Q2: https://goo.gl/forms/LIkVo4Xs7UeFU2C43
2016-Q4 - $53.75 (Closest was SC-AG)
2017-Q1 - $50.60 (Closest was Buck Compton)

the mean over the past year or so maybe 18 months seems to be $55ish. Just eyeballing the chart. I suspect we revert back before advancing much further.IrishTxAggie said:

I do too. I don't see the high 60s on the Brent sustaining once Saudi IPOs. They want their cash to diversify and then I think they'll ease off on their cuts.Ragoo said:the mean over the past year or so maybe 18 months seems to be $55ish. Just eyeballing the chart.
