I currently live in Billings, Montana and work at a sugar beet processing facility. I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Agribusiness. My job is basically a glorified clerical role at under $40k right now. I don't see much in the way of future opportunities with my employer, here in Billings or at other facilities. There seems to be a lot of work in Billings but not many jobs that pay more than I make.

I've worked in accounting at a coal mine also and had a 4 year stint with the Army between HS and college back in the day (33 yrs old now). With all the opportunity down there in CO, I wonder if I should just up and move on down there?! Maybe I could even get a job in the cannabis industry being an ag business grad? Oh yeah, single and no kids so not really tied down.

My family and inlaws are in Houston. I haven't been in a couple years, they just come here now. Houston is just a mess and I don't miss it at all.

Not an Aggie but we used Dwight Cabalka for our place in Littleton. He worked with us a lot in a short timeframe when we were here able to house hunt. Also keeps in touch through the year with market reports, family picnics and pies at Thanksgiving.

Now I'm seriously thinking of moving down there in April. I didn't get any raise or anything when I hit my 2 year mark at the sugar factory. Not sure where the best place is to move for reasonable rent though. I'm willing to live with a roommate for the time being when I get there.

Howdy! I'm a biology major that has been working in a lab in Houston for 3 years and while my job has been great I know my potential is wasted here. I've climbed the ladder within the lab, but until any expansion occurs there are no leadership positions available. Despite how much they like me here I'm looking for a change, and I've always wanted to live in Colorado. If anyone has a lead on anything (particularly in the greater Denver area) I'm open to an industry change, just looking for a reason to move. Thanks and gig em!

I could use some help for any Ags with Cherry Creek School District connections. My fianc currently works as a 3rd grade teacher at DCSD but is having to commute a looong way to work. She wants to teach somewhere closer to where we live in Green Valley Ranch and has her eyes set on Cherry Creek. Would any Ags be able to help me out? TIA.
