Man, that's depressing. I really like living here though.

Now one step away from full lockdown in Denver and 10+ surrounding counties.
About time to find a job and residence in a more libertarian state.
- Alcohol sales end at 8pm
- Gyms cut down to 10% capacity with a max of 10 people
- Ban on all indoor events
Guess this means churches are closed again? The affront to our rights in unconscionable. Yet people just keep asking for more. This isn't a flesh-eating ebola.
IFR is .1% for those under 40. Let us live our lives and lockdown those at risk.

My company pours about 50kcy of concrete a year.. but our guys don't do residential side work outside of for employees.COAg15 said:
Anyone know of a good cement / garage contact in Denver? Just bought my first home and want to add a garage or carport in the front of the house, but have no clue what I'm doing. Pretty inexperienced in this stuff, so want someone I can trust and like.
I wish my dad was a handyman so I could've learned this stuff as a kid.
I'd put my vote in for Douglas County. Parker, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Castle Pines, and Castle Rock would all fit the bill nicelyyukmonkey said:
Top schools/residential really. Work from home.
another DougCo resident here, in Parker.ec2004 said:
I'll 2nd Thriller on DougCo. We moved to Highlands Ranch from DFW 5 years ago and love it. Good access to the mountains, great kid activities and schools are good.

Merry Christmas!
I feel very fortunate to have a great group of doctors, dentists, etc. With that in mind, Dr. Jon Pederson is probably at the top of my list of any medical professional I've ever used:

Please tell him I referred you.

Denver only or anyone here in CO Springs area?
Recently took a job offer there and looking too see if there's A&M connections / game day bars
Same here - couldn't imagine a better state to be with bars and restaurants limited. Plenty of stuff to do outdoors. Although Wyoming near Jackson Hole might be better.agdaddy04 said:
It's been a crazy first 1-1/2 years in Colorado. Wouldn't change it for anything though. This move was probably the best thing we could have done for the family.
Here's an article written about the extreme weather events for ending 2019 and 2020.

"Western" music is a stretch. The bluegrass band Turkeyleg playing this Friday is from Colorado and they are pretty good. I went last week and it was a fun show. Cold but they have plenty of hot drinks and propane heaters outside.Mr President Elect said:
I haven't but that is pretty close to where I live, so will probably check it out soon. Took a look at the bands for country week and didn't recognize any of them though.
