Just got back from Disney World on Monday.
Had a great time. Although I don't like how they based Galaxy's Edge off the new movies (I'm not a fan of the new movies), it is really well done and immersive. We also got to ride both Rise of the Resistance and Smugglers Run. My kids loved both. Wish they had based "Star Wars Land" (as my 5-yo calls it) on Jedha from Rogue One, where everyone acted like the park was about to be shot by a space laser, but that's just me.
Epcot is under major construction, but still ok. Test track and Soaring are really fun. Probably the weakest park right now in our opinion.
The Pandora rides and Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom are great. The "Flight of Passage" ride is excellent. My 8-yo made friends with the ride attendant lady and we got to ride twice in a row without getting in line a second time.
The Magic Kingdom is and will always by our favorite. We hammered the rides. 7:30am (30min before official rope drop) to closing. Rode splash mountain, big thunder mountain, mine train, and space mountain multiple times. I had no idea my kids were daredevils, as I was a complete chicken for roller coasters as an 8-yo.
In our experience, always get to the parks an hour before they open, because they are usually open before the official time.
We already are looking to go again in December.
