This doesn't move the needle one micrometer IMHO.
It doesn't change the basic structural problems regarding the money owners have coming in or they are spending on players. Not does it change the way certain owners are structuring contracts that are breaking the competitive balance in MLB. It just means the Dodgers won't be playing to make the obvious conversations take place during the WS games.
3 teams left, all of which have never won a title or haven't in 80 years.

Not going to make one lick of difference. There is a lot of **** that needs to be fixed regardless of who wins it all this year.

Rays headed to their 3rd World Series in 29 years of existence. Not bad for an expansion team with the smallest payroll in the MLB, going up against the Yankees and BoSox in the AL East.

I agree. For fans of the game, this is a good matchup. Ill actually watch and enjoy it, unlike another dodgers-yankees bs series.
