Tickets have been really reasonable the last few years as the Rockies have been bad. Royals aren't a name team, so likely even easier to find good seats for cheap.
I lived in Colorado from 2022-2025 and we went to like 3-4 games per year. There's not really a bad place to sit IMO and the weather is pretty pleasant this time of year. 2nd deck on 1st base side is probably my favorite place to sit but like I said, you can't really go wrong. My favorite ballpark food they had was this ultimate funnel cake thing with Oreos on it, but it's huge so plan on sharing it. They had a specialty burger place also for a while in left field but not sure of that's still a thing.
The downtown scene around the park isn't super lively and the parking situation can sometimes turn to crap if it's a packed game in the official lots. I've been stuck sitting for 20-30 minutes while people fight to escape. But as the area further out is a bit sketch I never was adventurous enough to try out parking further out.
