Any tips for visiting Coors? We're planning to catch a game, I think the Royals while we're in Denver. Planning on getting some seats off Gametime or similar.

Tickets have been really reasonable the last few years as the Rockies have been bad. Royals aren't a name team, so likely even easier to find good seats for cheap.

I lived in Colorado from 2022-2025 and we went to like 3-4 games per year. There's not really a bad place to sit IMO and the weather is pretty pleasant this time of year. 2nd deck on 1st base side is probably my favorite place to sit but like I said, you can't really go wrong. My favorite ballpark food they had was this ultimate funnel cake thing with Oreos on it, but it's huge so plan on sharing it. They had a specialty burger place also for a while in left field but not sure of that's still a thing.

The downtown scene around the park isn't super lively and the parking situation can sometimes turn to crap if it's a packed game in the official lots. I've been stuck sitting for 20-30 minutes while people fight to escape. But as the area further out is a bit sketch I never was adventurous enough to try out parking further out.

Perhaps. But balls don't bite as well in the thin air, so breaking balls don't break as much.

If you are going to a day game, go 3rd base side. First level I'd suggest behind row 25ish so you can get the shade. Day games when the sun is out can be brutal. From like May-Sept I never sit on 1st base side. If you like beer, go up to the 3rd level rooftop bar for $3 coors up until first pitch.

Yes, go third base side, and take a rideshare to the ballpark. If you're staying downtown, you can walk back. It's a long walk, but it's cool by that time, so you won't be drenched on the walk back.

I had second row tickets by the visiting team dugout (guest of a client) and we could look to our right and see the visiting team dugout. That night Kershaw took a no-no into the seventh and was pulled because he felt something wasn't right. And the rest is history.
