Based off what? Just curious who you seen information from that actually knows anything. And don't say that nerd Jeff Passan
It's not just Passan, I am sure you follow some of the other national baseball writers on twitter. This has been mentioned over and over by plenty of them, this isn't exactly ground breaking information. They aren't even really negotiating, so yeah, doesn't look good.

What would having no season next year actually solve? It doesn't benefit anybody. In fact, it's in everyone's best interest to have baseball.
They got a deal done in 2022 and we didn't miss any regular season games, and I fully expect they will get another done prior to the 2027 season.
I highly suggest taking anything you see the media say with a grain of salt. They don't know ****, and why should they?

After going 2-5 against the two worst teams in baseball. I don't get it.

Amazing what happens when Wyatt and seager get on base! Astros lose to those pesky Angels and rangers are a a whopping one game back.
On a brighter note, my 0-5 record this season turned down tickets for tomorrow night. Yall are all welcome.

Sebastian Walcott, SS/3B, Rangers (

TEX No. 1/MLB No. 9)
One of the top power hitters in the Minors, Walcott has lived up to the hype since signing for $3.2 million out of the Bahamas in 2023. At age 19, he was the youngest qualified hitter at Double-A last year and returned to the level in mid-July after recovering from internal brace surgery.
Callis: "He's got huge power. He's got huge arm strength. He's pretty much just DHing at this point, but he's been on fire since he's returned to Double-A. The Rangers have been platooning Joc Pederson with Justin Foscue at DH, and I'm at the point where I would call Sebastian Walcott up and give him the opportunity to get some at-bats. That one's more of a pipe dream compared to some of these other ones I've said, but he's just so precocious and he's hit everywhere he's gone."

Walcott should absolutely be called up. He's been destroying AA. No harm in bringing him up just to start against lefties, with Joc ready to PH late.
A starting lineup against LHP could look pretty insane late in the year:
CF - Wyatt
SS - Seager
3B - Jung
RF - Nimmo (reverse splits demon)
LF - Duran
DH - Walcott
2B - Foscue
1B - Burger
C - Higgy/Jansen
There would be no pressure on Walcott and he'd have good protection with Foscue's ability against LHP. Left handed batters off the bench would be Peterson, Carter, Lopez, and someone like Osuna or Kelenic.
