He has a month when he was hitting well. Coincided with Langford when he got up to .290 but has slumped too.

I knew what you meant. I agree it would be nice if the bottom of the lineup was consistently on base when the lineup turns over.

I'm officially old. Seeing a first baseman hitting .237 watching strike 3 down the middle makes me sick. Growing up a PITCHER used to hit .237, a soft hitting shortstop was a .260 hitter. It's just crazy to me now.

I don't understand how a pitcher can be so slow to the plate with runners on. Wynns had no chance to throw the runner out. You have to develop a slide step when runners on, you just have to. There's no excuse to be that slow to the plate

Some nights it looks like we have no idea what the opposing pitcher's arsenal is and what his tendencies are. We've missed several meatballs and swung at some serious junk like we have no idea what's coming.

Carter has to be demoted. He seems to be completely broken and has no confidence at the plate.
