I'd favor us in a home 3 game series over any of the wild card teams. We need some pitchers to step up if we'd want to win a longer series though.

I do think the NL will take the title this year. I'd love to win another pennant though.

Not sure. I know some teams have specific clauses about limiting specific outside activities written in the contract but in the absence of that I would think not.

At home yes. Just because I think we'd have the pitching advantage so long as we get Ace Hunter and don't get a blow up from somebody who starts game 2

I don't believe they can just withhold salary. Instead, the team would completely void the contract per the language in the contract, and teams aren't going to void contracts for guys like Yordan.

Honestly, I don't consider this a rivalry. Proximity does not a rivalry make. If I go by who I want them to beat the most, it'll always be LA. Second would be all the teams with TV fans: Cubs, Braves, and Yankees.

It's like A&M vs LSU for me. Newer rivalry but can get intense when both teams are good.

I hate the Yankees more than the rangers though

Abreu might have his old form back.

In June and July he gave up 3 ER in 18.2/3 innings with a WHIP of .91 and a K/9 of 11.

That's absolutely lights out. If he's figured his stuff out, it might be a good chance to sign him for cheap

He's given up 0ER, 3 hits and 2 BB in his last 7 ip
