If nothing else, the Stros have dragged me through the summer and got me to football season so for that I'm very grateful.

I think the Mets Metsyness might counteract our aversion to success. Gotta find a way to keep the bats kindled. HB getting through six (or heaven-forbid seven) innings might cause a pregnancy spike in Houston.

Mariners go to Toronto for the weekend, the next two nights they get to face Cease and Soriano (from Anaheim).

Rangers get the Brew Crew that fall out of bed and win two outta three.

Need to get some distance via the Mets this weekend.
