I feel for Dana as he's just Jim's puppet and fall guy. You can say that Manfred made Jim get rid of Lunhow, but there was zero reason to fire Click. Jim wanted to make the moves and have a GM in place that he could fully control. If you recall, there was a lot of tension with some of the moves James forced Jim to make.

Yes, we are are currently in first place, but you can see how we've been trending the last few years.

I don't know, guys...I kind of like having a late inning guy coming in with a 2-run lead who can't find the zone for a few batters, then gives up a run before lucking into a pop out and a double play. Keeps the blood pressure at a nice, high level every other night. Good job, Jimmy! Now, everyone go check and see if your Zestril prescription is up to date.

That's not really an issue, we could easily use a platoon player to help Tuve and Cam get better matchups.

Pretty big mistake here by Crane. That's a starting OF for 1.5 years for 0.5 years of a formerly good reliever. I'm shocked the Twins would agree to that. It would has also saved a few bucks too.

Yeah much easier to find a replacement RP. Feel like if you did this then got Weaver and Holmes from the Mets then you're pretty nicely setup.

Doubtful but it's definitely not a good look for Crane. What qualified GM is going to interview for this job if your owner is meddling with middle relief trades? I get if significant money is involved or star players but these are guys the average owner probably doesn't even know who they are.

Yup…that's why Dana was the best he could get. Look for Ausmus to get the job next. I'm sure it's been in the works for a while. Hell, at this point he's probably the only guy who would even take the job.

Im hearing the Abreu news was BS, and that we are actually still working with Toronto on a potential Springer deal. Which is the complete opposite of what's being reported on social media so who knows

Also, Arrighetti was a name floated as potential trade bait

If Arrighetti is being floated, we better get more than Springer. I love the guy, but his 50 games left on his contract is not worth the control and potential of an Arrighetti.

I was on board the Springer train, but after listening to Chandler latest podcast, I'm out. He hasn't played outfield all year. He's a DH. We have enough of those already. We better be getting gausman and maybe Varsho with him if we're doing that deal.
