Two weeks before its 2026 football season begins against Missouri State, Texas A&M endured near-100 degree temperatures Saturday morning on the 14th practice of August camp.

It was “family day,” so parents and siblings — and some high school coaches — of players were in attendance. Also, reporters were allowed to watch the entire two-hour session.

Everybody seemed to be wearing a hat or cap. Some onlookers held umbrellas.
