No regular season trips scheduled, but Mrs. Marvin and I will be in West Palm again next month.
How is that trip? I've heard great things
Spring training is the absolute best. Show up early and watch morning practice on the back fields, snag as many autographs and pictures as you can (women and children get precedence, so I don't bother), and just enjoy the sounds of baseball. Mrs. Marvin stays there until game time, but I move to the stadium as soon as it opens. Nothing beats getting there before the mash of kids to catch a batting practice homer... or four. I sit down once the kids show up, although some grown ass men will truck a crowd of 8-year olds for a ball. Once the game starts, I spread out a blanket on the outfield berm, soak up the sun, and doze off until I hear a loud crack of the bat. As I said, it is the absolute best. I would have season tickets to Grapefruit games if I lived close enough. I enjoy it much more than regular season games. It is the best therapy ever, lol.
Several other ballparks are close to WPB, so you'll want to check the game schedule of you desire to see several games in a row. St. Louis and Miami play close, as examples.
Then, you have day trips to Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, and the theme parks in Orlando.
