Your read on Yordan is spot on from what I've heard. Haven't met him but from what I've heard he's one of the nicest guys in baseball and he values living in a place where he's comfortable over crazy amounts of money.. hence the team friendly deal he signed.
That has to be a pretty cool experience for somebody that grew up in Cuba to be able to take their kids to a place like Disney. Talk about making sure your kids have a better life...TarponChaser said:texasaggie2015 said:

Some friends of ours went to Disney over Christmas and saw Yordan with his family and he was gracious enough to take pics with their 13-year old son and said he was super nice and cool about it.

Astros announce that the first Spring Training workout for pitchers and catchers will be Feb. 13 in West Palm Beach. The first workout for the full squad will be Feb. 18.

So we're less than five weeks away from Spring Training.

They should do this to all Yankees fans. Trash fanbase.
Couldn't identify any of them. And yet no tea-sips were punished for throwing trash on the field vs. Georgia.

Does that take them out of the Bregman market now?
Sources: Before signing with the Blue Jays, Jeff Hoffman had reached a three-year, $40 million agreement with the Baltimore Orioles.

I'm sure he's got the Chiba Lotte Marines upping there offer right now. They are sweetening the deal with an offer of 1000 free pa*****o tokens a day.n_touch said:superaggie73 said:EastCoastAgNc said:The Blue Jays open the marquee free-agent relief market by signing Jeff Hoffman to a 3-year, $33 million contract.

Yordan is 100% the nicest guy in baseball. He's great with kids, older fans, etc. Outside of that, he's the best hitter in baseball. Yordan left like $30MM on the table and will likely take another club friendly extension. He's not a money hungry ******* like Tuck or Breggy. Different background as well, but Yordan is appreciative of what he's been given.
I am not TxAggie2015, but I have a connection to Yordan through ex-MLB coaches we've hired for our PG youth teams.
Edit - I want to clarify one thing. Tuck is an *******. Bregs was great with the kids. When I lumped them together, it was all based on their greed, which they both share.
We have been spoiled with Bags, Biggio and Altuve. Not everyone can be like them. I with Bregs would have stayed, Altuve was quite vocal about it, and I am betting he wishes he would have signed that deal now. I don't blame him for wanting as much as he could get. He was just led wrong.Baseball Is Life said:texasaggie2015 said:
