Not saying it'll happen, but Patrick Wisdom is the sort of player the Astros will/should be targeting for depth purposes. https://t.co/1ZOY0cDh0a

Thoughts on working a trade with Minnesota to bring Correa back? Saw a random FB article talking about this.
The Rays are the cheapest ownership group in MLB in terms of % of estimated full-year revenues spent on 2024 player payroll. They can handle a one-year delay on a stadium project if it even would come to that. pic.twitter.com/FXUGUnQTUz

I don't know, Breggy's reflexes seem to be aging quickly.Quote:
I really should read things fully before posting. We're middle of the pack. Crane can afford more. Let's extend Breggy and Tucker.

Little man got all of that one. But between pimping and staring at the homer and that bat flip that put Singleton to shame, he better not dig in his next time up...Farmer1906 said:Alex Bregman got his shit absolutely rocked by his two year old son 😭 pic.twitter.com/KcS32KwWvn

Framber Valdez finished seventh in AL Cy Young voting. He got two third-place votes, three fourth-place votes and five fifth-place votes. Yusei Kikuchi got one fifth-place vote.

Heyman says the Astros have extended an offer to Bregman, I have heard the same. The rumor I have heard is that it's in the 6 year range. I don't think Crane goes to 7 years https://t.co/Jx7JiWbBM7

His 2023 was fake based on his batted ball metrics. Teams are finding out even these short term deals with player opt outs aren't so fun.
Yup. I didn't want to sign him last year when it was an option. I'm completely out on him.MaxPower said:

I would still take him but he'd have to be cheap in prospects and the Cubs would need to take on some money. He'd be awesome to platoon in CF and 1B.
Correct. Jon would go bye-bye in my scenario. You can't justify a player like Beli to be a part-time 1B. His ability to play CF & 1B while being a plus hitter makes him valuable.Mathguy64 said:Farmer1906 said:

Platooning him at 1B makes Jon dead weight.
I still think the easy (AKA cheap) solution there is to find a RHH 1B and platoon that person with Jon as LHH.
