Maybe I don't watch enough ESPN baseball, but the sound on this broadcast sucks. Really out of balance. Gets quiet, then crowd noise cranks way up.

I think sometimes he picks a certain pitch to look for, and if he doesn't get it, it freezes him. He's got to learn to at least try to foul off a pitch that fools him.

It's been crazy to watch because most rookies are the exact opposite where their issue is chasing pitches. I don't think I've ever seen a rookie have this approach. It does give me some hope though for year 2-3. I feel like this can be figured out much more easily than learning not to chase.

Even with his flaws, he is hitting .250ish as a rookie. He will continue to improve over the years.
