Facing a tough pitcher today. One of best lefty's in MLB. Knew we'd have to grind this one.
He then proceeded to barely miss a barrel on a 300' out and missed his spot by 5 feet with an 0-2 curveball but luckily it was against Baez, one of the worst hitters in the league.KT 90 said:
oh no....
ETA: maybe a false alarm. They went out to check on Dunning... but he says he is ok. We definitely don't need another pitcher on the IL
Game 1 was in the evening, but to answer your question...because it gets cold as sh/t at night there this time of year.txaggie2012 said:

Then Taveras with a 400' fly out to left field. That's a homerun in like 29/30 other ballparks
I think when he has his good stuff, it is good enough at missing barrels and he is so good at getting DPs, I think he is fine as a starter.Tksymm7 said:
I always thought Dunning was better out of pen. He's got stuff that moves a country mile, which really plays in the pen. Plus he can throw his fastball a little harder.
Seems like it happens really often when the offense isn't going well..Ag Since 83 said:
Didn't that happen to the Rangers recently (maybe in Tampa)?
