Covering a high school baseball team (even one run by Rocky Manuel) while working for the school paper doesn't mean you can manage a big league club. The Porkchop Express said:I couldn't do any worse!RED AG 98 said:Are you the manager? The Porkchop Express said:Who?RED AG 98 said:I mean the fella's name.Jackal99 said:No, he's on first.RED AG 98 said:

I did KC and St. Louis in one weekend last year. Atlanta is probably the cheapest/easiest, but Pittsburgh is my favorite that I've done recently. Cleveland is only 2 hours away as well.
When Diaz is catching:
— Tony Adams (@adams_at) May 9, 2024
- Javier, Valdez, Verlander, & Blanco: 2.06 ERA
- Brown, France, & Arrighetti: 7.94 ERA
When Caratini is catching:
- Javier, Valdez, Verlander: 4.38 ERA
- Henley, Brown, France, Arrighetti: 11.71 ERA
It seems to me the issue isn’t who’s catching.
if you just go by the pitchers that they have both caught, it looks like this pic.twitter.com/uTJsAGX9X0

Atlanta is really nice, great little neighborhood atmosphere. However I wouldn't take kids there. My daughter and I had a tough time getting an uber after the game and there were lots rowdy non-baseball fans intentionally hanging around the area where the Ubers pick you up trying to panhandle people.203Raggie said:cc10106 said:

PNC park may be the one I'm most looking forward to as I've never been. That's a trip I wanna make when we have more time. I would wanna make a big trip and go to several ball parks while we're up there!
Atlanta I haven't considered much for this year but I think that isn't a bad idea. Colorado and Arizona are/were also in consideration.
They do if you have speed which Pena has in spades (top 1%). He's in the top 3% of the league in expected batting average.W said:
strange but true
Pena has a bunch of infield singles -- perhaps more than 10 already this season -- including the 2 last night
I suspect the advanced metrics don't like those
Who had Loperfido and Blanco being the stars pictured in an Astros lineup release on their bingo card preseason?Wabs said:
