I've been adamant he'll his total contract will be $500M or more this entire time. Farmer has posted some projections from some website (I can't remember where) for Ohtani less than $500M, which seems wrong to me. I'll be excited to see if I'm right.Mathguy64 said:Ag_07 said:

I'd say as a hitter you can compare him to Judge, so a total contract of $360M.
I'd say as a pitcher, you can compare him to Nola, so a total contract of $172M.
That's a total of $532M. I think the hitting contract of $360M is the most solid. Even if you say as a pitcher his total contract should be $140M, that's $500M right there.
