Why didn't the Astros incorporate the Colt .45s into their city connect uniform???
Point being is there are many ways it could have gone. There will be another city connect uniform in 2026 that they have already started designing

You know the Colt 45s are the Astros. It's the same franchise.
I guess the Braves should take the "A" off their City Connect since Astros starts with "A". Everyone wants to be Houston.

Boston connected to another sporting event. Houston connected to its space history. Colorado, San Francisco, Anaheim, and Washington connect to local nature and geography. Chicago White Sox apparently connect to the city's architecture (SF does also, with the bridge). Kansas City, Milwaukee, and the Chicago Cubs went with community ties. While there are some jerseys that connect to a city's baseball history (see Miami, for example), a large portion so far do not.

I wouldn't say knocked it out of the park but there's nothing wrong with these.
I think they're kinda boring looking with nothing that really stands out but other than that they're pretty good.

The rangers should have just listed every one of the cities, townships and villages in the suburbaplex and then had a cowboys star, the texas giant, and a leased bmw
I find it fascinating so many Astros fans need to bag on the Ranger's uniforms. Meanwhile, none of the Ranger's fans care one way or another about Houston's.
Houston fans seem to hate the D/FW teams - meanwhile, D/FW fans, as usual, don't ever much think about Houston.
Even after winning 1.5 world championships, seems Houston fans still have that inferiority complex going. So weird.

Uh one of the first posts was making fun of the Astros unis as regular Astros uniforms. Another that it had no thought going into it.
Yeah, the ragging on these from stros fan has been over the top, from a stros fan. But acting like it's a one way "inferiority complex" is laughable

Again, I never said Astros fans weren't bagging on these. I said that poster was wrong when saying zero rangers fans were hating on the Astros city connect unis

Goes to college and meets Houston team fans.
Never supports Houston teams again.

And my experience is the opposite. I always rooted for the cowboys until I met cowboys fans in college.
Every game they win my social media is flooded with "where the haters at now!!!!"
Oddly enough, never seen posts by these "haters" when they lose.
For the rangers, I've always hated them but it was more of a logistics thing then anything else. I grew up in STX and if the rangers game was on it pissed me off because that meant I wasn't watching the Astros that night.

It is what it is, but I'm a Rangers and Cowboys fan living in Houston. My feed is flooded with posts from Texans fans every time the Cowboys lose. It was the same several years ago when the Texans were going to the playoffs and the Cowboys weren't. I see more posts about the Cowboys from these people than they ever make about the Texans.
Difference being social media interaction vs actual in person d-baggery. Have a ton of great friends from Houston that I cannot talk sports with or enjoy a game with because of it. It really is sad
