Exactly. I've seen some Diamondback fans on social media whining too and I have to wonder if they paid attention to what happened Saturday.

But they'll look at ump scorecards tomorrow, see that as the "most impactful" call of the game, and ignore the fact that the AB was exactly where it should be after 5 pitches.

He had bad calls both ways and then made make up calls in the same at bats usually. All in all it evened out.
Bullpen game. Heaney/Dunning/Bradford can hopefully get you through 6-8 innings.
Man, I was ecstatic Friday night, pissed at umpires and bats Saturday, relieves we weren't playing yesterday (my BP bedded rest), and now I'm sitting in the middle. .500 baseball and you're World Series champs. We all know that's still tough. The injuries are going to keep me up tonight. Wondering where the offense is coming from will keep me up. Chances three runs each night wins this thing are slim.

DBacks don't have that luxury... they have 1 guy that has a 1 GS in the playoffs. He is a true BP in the sense that was his only GS all season.
Heaney, Dunning, and Bradford have all had GSs during the regular season and all 3 have come out of the BP.
I know Heaney and Dunning have pitched in this WS, so their jitter/adrenaline level should be controlled.
It was what made G1 so awesome. Guys got in and now have had some rest.
I think we have a pitching advantage tomorrow.

Also gotta be careful with Heaney, who has shown bouts of dominance but is prone to the explosive inning. I imagine they'll all have fairly quick hooks.

Keep in mind Heaney, Bradford, and Perez are all Lefties.
Zero chance Perez pitches again in this series unless it's mop up duty or the 15th inning.

What happened with him? Wasn't he good last year?
He was, but when you look at his career I think last year was actually the outlier. That being said, he's given us some quality innings since moving to the pen.Yukon Cornelius said:
