I know we're all on the high of beating Houston to take the AL pennant, and you gotta celebrate the good moments when they happen, but man I want this World Series so bad. In my opinion it's the hardest championship to win in all of sports and you NEVER know when you're going to get this chance again. I want to finally be able to put 2011 to rest in my head.

I grew up in Arlington ,and have been a Ranger fan all my life , but the Stanley Cup is by far the hardest to win. I do want this soo bad as that will mean I have seen all my teams win a Championship.

I mentioned earlier that the Rangers are in a very unique situation, much like the 2022 Aggies. They have no need for any defensive replacements or pinch hitters. The only way to use their bench is through defensive subs following pinch runners.

I believe you are correct. I feel so bad for Nelly sometimes. Had an incredible 2011 ALCS and career with the Rangers, and we all still can't get over that one play.

It's funny how quickly Astros management leaked the story that "Dusty Baker has told several people within the organization that he plans to retire after the 2023 season". Literally right after LeClerq fell to his knees McTaggart and the other Houston media idiots were getting the news. Get ahead of any post-game press conference statements that might give Dusty a chance to survive.

I love that all the incessant whining about not playing Diaz and McCormick or Brantley went down the crapper in this series:

Diaz - 1 for 14, 0 RBI
McCormick - 5 for 17, 2 meaningless RBI in Game 4
Brantley - 1 for 17, 0 RBI

It will be hilarious if they dump Dusty and miss the playoffs next year.

It's Dusty's fault.
The umpires screwed us.
Garcia is a punk.
The Rangers are a classless organization.

I got in and all the tickets I were trying to get kept saying oops nothing left or change your seat number. Can't go lower than 1 ticket.

I imagine the story was leaked well before the end of the game and the reporters just know how to keep their mouths shut until the green light so they keep getting the info.

I'll be watching game 1 with beer in hand on Friday. This team has surpassed all odds and then some. Team should be loose and ready to roll.

I don't really have a preference on opponent, but part of me wants the Phillies just because it would be a big market northeast team (plus **** Philly).

Game 1 starter has to be Eovaldi, right? Can't see going with Monty after throwing 2.1 last night. Let him go game 2.

Bought game 6 tickets yesterday for my dad and I. Went to 2011 with a buddy instead of him and I think it broke him a little.

I look forward to getting to redeem myself. He's ecstatic and so am I.
