That's pretty crazy.

What's crazy is that the bullpen is looking quite strong. Yes, a few hiccups here and there, but much better than August and September!bmac_aggie18 said:
No team has ever made the playoffs with a bullpen as bad as ours and we just made the mf World Series!!!

I'd argue Houston's window is closing. They're about a year away.
Brantley, Neris and Maldonado are UFAs this off aeaosn. Then Live, Bregman and Pressley the next. And they are getting older.

I'll believe it when I see it. They've lost in this round before. I expect them to be back next year.fc2112 said:

Jordan Montgomery went 2.1 scoreless innings of relief work with 2 days rest since his really good game 5 start.

The Rangers have lost every World Series game I've been to. So as much as I would love to be there in person, I'm gonna sit this one out and watch from home.
Agreed. Wins and losses are determined by the players, not which fans are at the game. Go if you can!South Platte said:If you have a chance to go, you should go. All that is just made up nonsense.nai06 said:

It amuses me how many "I'm rooting for the Rangers to win it all" from fans that are very obviously not rooting for the Rangers to win it all.

Ok, I posted about this during game 5. I'm not superstitious in life, except for baseball. But especially for Rangers and Aggie baseball. I'm like legit hardcore about it. Call me over the top and call me guarding my heart because of 2011, but I didn't watch at all tonight. Ya, I know we lost, but we did all of our great things after I stopped watching. So naturally, I didn't watch tonight. In fact, I only checked the score once tonight, bottom 1 and there was 1 out and a runner on second.
It breaks my Rangers soul to say this, but I will not watch tomorrow night's…err tonight's game. (Things reset on a new series btw!) I may not be as legit as Mr. Gig 'Em's rally brisket (BROTHA YOU BETTER BE SMOKIN ANOTHER ONE!!!), but I'm headed to the ****ter for our boys.
Today is my parents' 41st anniversary. My Dad is the one who taught me everything about baseball and the Rangers. And I just had back surgery 4 days ago and still hurt like ****, so maybe the baseball gods, just maybe, will smile upon us.
No matter what, what a freaking season. What a wild, incredible ride! Oh and **** the Astros.
Rangers. Over. Everyone.
Their farm team is rated dead last in baseball. They are the only MLB team without a single top 100 prospect.KT 90 said:fc2112 said:

It depends on how hard their management is willing to hit the free agency market. They traded away some of their minor league talent, and their overall minor league system isn't highly rated with talent (lower half at least). As their star players get older, it will be interesting to see if they pay up for free agents to keep the window open or focus on rebuilding their overall system.
