IMO a guy like Janikowski not being able to get a bunt down on that pitch is ****ing inexcusable. Guy gets opportunity of a lifetime to stick with a big league club but he can't execute fundamentals.

You know, for as much praise as this board puts on Maddux it sure as hell seems like our guys lack a lot of pure fundamental mechanics.
Consider they've lost:
deGrom
Odorizzi
Eovaldi
Consider their BP has been crap (13th in the AL ERA). Not sure the stats on Inherited Runs Scored, but it has to be terrible.

I'm turning this off. Just piss poor baseball from top to bottom.
Maddux was Scherzer's pitching coach ('16, '17) when he won 2 Cy Youngs in Washington.Proposition Joe said:DallasAg 94 said:Where do you think the Rangers rank in the AL for SP ERA?Proposition Joe said:

I think fans tend to hear their home broadcast which is going to be positive on the players/staff 99% of the time (as you just heard Raymond reference Bochy and Janikowski "swinging a relatively hot bat").
Scherzer and Montgomery -- two guys that we got at the deadline -- are the guys actually pulling their weight the last month or two. Those aren't Maddux projects.
I don't dislike Maddux, but he's insanely over-praised.

We about to have a walk-off walk aren't we?

A four pitch walk to lose it?

We score only run 1 run after the GS. Our lineup has gone dead.
