I can not think of a time where I've seen so many umpires consistently having such wide zones. It's every game there are multiple pitches damn near in the batters boxes that are called for strikes.

That one wasn't really on Lowe. Bad throw by Jung. Lowe made an effort and could have left the bag bit it would have been the same result.

Evan Carter has hit a pretty good slump in the season at AA. The same could be said for Josh Jung with the big club. Weird to say but I'm glad Carter is experiencing it. Struggle in the minors is a good thing because it forces you to adjust and gives you a taste of what it'll be like in the show. Jung will have to adjust too. Teams are dialing him up a bit more because they know how to pitch him better. His strikeout numbers are pretty high the last week+.

Looked like he gave up on it about 2 seconds before it landed 5 feet away from him. And it did bite us in the butt.
