Yeah his ERA this year is a full run higher than his career ERA. I read a little about him on Wikipedia and he certainly has the pedigree.

They probably were syncing the finger tag angle from the 3b dugout with the home plate angle to ensure the palm hadn't touched first.

I may be wrong, but hasn't he allowed 3 baserunners and still faced the minimum? They've all been wiped out by DP, stupid tagging, or trying to steal while the pitcher still holds the ball.
