Frustrating season. Had some great moments but the 2023 campaign was a roller coaster ride I don't want to go on again

Let's go for title #3 in 2024

Texas have a very clear weakness they can plug in the off-season and will net then 10-15 more wins. They win this division going away next year

Good riddance to this season. The ALCS is always amazing, but this season was ****ed. The window is going to see some potential obstacles after 24, but 2024 has the chance to be another title run if we hire the right manager and make some half decent signings. Usually, I am bummed and not ready for the offseason but I'm ready to dive in headfirst.

You're crazy. The Rangers have made good moves the last couple of years. Any team with Seager, Semien, Eovoldi, Degrom, along with some solid young guys should be set up to challenge the league again.
degrom won't pitch till August. They still have no bullpen, and already have a ton of money tied up in the guys you already mentioned. This is there team. It will be there team for many years. Will Garcia have 80 first half RBIs every year or Evoldi pitch great in the regular season like he did this year? Idk but other than Carter who are their young guys

Welp. Not the out one I was hoping, but in reality, a final 4 is pretty damn solid. We're spoiled, and we're living in the good old days. It's been a fun hang this season, look forward to next year. Stay classy and go Astros.

It was a good ride to be one of the last 2 AL teams standing. Sucks to lose, but there are still pieces to make a run next year. Looking forward to the offseason discussions around trades, free agents and contract extensions (hopefully not Dusty).

Thanks to all of the regular posters who add so much content (including T&A).

At least he can play defense. King Tuck? Not so much and with a weak stick too. Tough playoffs for the guy. Dude has ups like my grandmother.

among Altuve, Bregman, and Tucker...

Altuve will get taken care of first in the offseason --- and that's appropriate

it will be a tough call on Bregman

and would not expect anything with Tucker

Looks like most of the money will go to the pen. The only curiosity for me is how Brown views Pena after this season/postseason. For now I'll guess all the positions are basically set except maybe LF/CF.

Agree, this team was fatally flawed and barely scraped through the year only to end up one win short of a third straight pennant. It is what it is, they choked at home and they will get to think on that.

Should be better next year and I'm really looking forward to seeing a dugout without Dusty, a lineup without Maldonado, and an org restructured in Dana's image.
