I just don't know if I get a good read on Espada's personality. Coupled with losing a few other manager jobs… eh I could take him or leave him.

But if he prevents Ausmus or some other awful retread, bring on the Espada Era.

It was so easy to root for Altuve, Springer, Correa, young Bregman, etc. Those teams went out and had fun and it was contagious. This season has been 180 degrees from that. Call it mature, or professional if you want but this is sport. It's supposed to be fun. Very little of this season has felt like it.

Let them enjoy it. They've been owned by us for seven years. Has to feel good for them. And it's not like we're going anywhere. It'll be a fun rivalry. Kudos to them for finally making it to the adult table.

Not at all. He was a total no-show when it counted this year and a big reason why we are in this situation.


He had a great year. 30/30 doesn't grow on trees so I don't mean to discount what he accomplished in the regular season. I just can't see sinking that much money into Kyle Tucker. He's not the cream of the crop. You can go find guys that are close for much less time commitment. Tampa does it every year.
I love Texas Aggie sports, but I love Texas A&M more.

I do have to say the "business like approach" they've been saying they play with all year might need to be reevaluated. Go out and play emotional like the 2017-2019 teams did, and the Phillies currently do.

2024 could be another 2022 if this team plays with fire.

may have to cut Biggio and Bagwell some slack for their struggles
