Pitched 5 innings on October 6th vs. the Braves.
Pitched final 3 innings of 18 inning game on October 9th to beat the Braves.

Threw 92 pitches in the first outing.
Threw 44 pitches in the second outing.

Was 43 years old at the time. Totally not on steroids.

Same. Bad news is that we have been leaving a ton of runners on base. Good news is that we are getting runners on base and we have good experienced hitters in the lineup that have been here before and they should break though at some point. Hopefully its tonight.

Just need Javy to go 6 strong innings. Get a 6 run lead. Then Nervis, Abreu and Pressley for the win, right? That sound like a plan? Let's do this!!!

It'll be interesting to see how far Max is able to go. I would best case scenario is expect about the same as GM 2...4 IP or 70 pitches.

Can't imagine he goes any more than that.

The moment definitely isn't too big for this team. Whether that translates to a win or not, who knows? The playoffs in general are a crapshoot. Game sevens are even more of one.

That was my initial reaction. I would have liked to see Tucker hitting in front of Alvarez. There is 1 guy in our lineup the Rangers have nightmares about and that's Yordan. I really think Tucker would have benefited from hitting in front of him.

So, with Abreu's suspension upheld but moved to the 2024 season, this is proof that the batter's reaction can define whether or not it was intentional. We watched a grown man's temper tantrum get taken seriously.

Also, I guess you can push umpires and get away with it, as long as you're mad enough
