Dusty makes a lot of bad calls but I am not going to fault him for looking at a two-run deficit and this team's pathetic offensive output at home and thinking someone's got to be available tomorrow.

Then you end up replacing both Maldy and Pena, because if don't pull Maldy you lose Yainer. If you think Maldy is the pitcher whisperer, you keep him in there so he can catch the 9th.
