If I see Altuve swing at another first pitch and proceed to roll it over to the SS I will punch a brick wall.
That is the Lineup of Death. It gives Max no easy outs, no breathers, nothing. Hopefully Dana has the pull to make it happen.Lonestar_Ag09 said:You know damn well if it was up to you Maldy isnt in the lineup...texasaggie2015 said:
If it was up to me...
Altuve
Brantley
Yordan
Bregman
Tucker
Abreu
McCormick
Pena
Maldonado
My only concern would be how double play prone Bregman is... but I think it's a risk worth taking.
Altuve
Brantley
Yordan
Bregman
Tucker
Diaz
Abreu
McCormick
Pena
The lineup wet dreams are made of

Yeah hero ball to lead off is not the way to go today.
You wanna put 20+ pitches and some runs on Scherzer in the first.

Dusty and the NY Mets would be a match made in heaven based on JV's comments about them and their being so far behind on the analytics and preparation side of things.
Hell at that point they should've just stuck with Buck.
First move - platoon Alonso at first until he's earned it.Prosperdick said:Chef's kiss if Dusty goes to the Mets.Ag_07 said:

I do agree but I'm also a lineup-lengthening purist at heart. I don't believe in the mantra of stack your best hitters 1-7 and then have a bottom of the lineup that might be 3 up 3 downMosesHallRAB04 said:
I'd put diaz at 7 or 8. Abreu has been good or at least solid. Diaz hasnt had enough ABs lately.
