Does anyone in here even know any rangers fans personally? Other than a couple of people I've met through TA, which are good dudes I might add, I don't. I've got several yankee, bosox, and cubs acquaintances, but no rangers. Hell, even the displaced cowboy fans that I know are Astros fans.

Work with them. I only really knew that one of them even followed baseball until the past week. Now there is 15 of them and they were all betting me on this series and texting in a group chat in the first inning today.

Am I Aggravated? Absolutely. Does Framber having the fielding abilities of a little league pitcher piss me off? Yes. Does it boggle my mind how bad we are at home this year? Without a doubt.

Am I nervous about this series? Not remotely as of now. This team has proven time and time again When you put their back against the wall, It's like cornering a damn Badger. I wouldn't be shocked at all if we swept all 3 games in Arlington and I fully expect this team to do that. That's what champions do
Im looking for Ray Finkle.... and a clean pair of shorts. Im just a very big Finkle fan. This is my Graceland, sir.

And Framber pitches game 6. I fully expect a locked in bounce back game.
I was hoping for a locked in bounce game tonight after the garbage he put on display against Minnesota.

Framber has been given two game two starts and failed both times.

The logic is that bumping him down in the order will hurt his confidence, but it isn't working.

Bumping him down in this case is what he might be needed to refocus. It was his poor showing in the '21 that lead to his '22 season. Sure he still had his Mr. Hyde moments in almost every start but the wheels rarely came off.

I have a good friend from A&M who likes the Rangers and the Cowboys from his childhood, but also really likes the Astros. Obviously I'd much prefer the Astros turn this thing around and stomp them, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Still have 2 more World Series than I ever dreamed we'd have and still have gas in the tank. But I'm nowhere near giving up on this team yet. We were down 0-3 to Tampa and took them 7 and down 0-2 to Washington and took them 7. Like someone else said, Javier and Urquidy inspire odd confidence in me, and the Rangers have to lose some time right?

If they're the team of destiny, good for them. They'll have earned it. But it's a long way from done.

Two starts two losses, 10 runs given up. Just bad. This isn't JV turning in a quality start and losing because of no offense.

Probably too late but wouldn't give Framber another chance.

I had no problem with JV's start, the bats failed him. Here is hoping we get to the point where whether to start Frambler or not this postseason is something more then just speculation.

I wasn't very clear with my post, I was thinking about how this poor showing this postseason will hopefully refocus him next season and how he'll likely have to do so without his Linus blanket, Maldy.

Just win 4 games out of 5. We did that all season with the Rangers, should be doable if our team makes adjustments.

Linus isn't a blanket, he's a man. Linus Calrissian.

I think the pitch plan for Framber sucked as well. Did he throw one pitch above the belt or in on any hitter's hands? I am in no way discounting the fact his head is so far up his *** he still doesn't know if the roof was open or not. BUT, both Montero and French moved the ball up and down and in and out. I don't know of many, if any, big league pitchers who can navigate any lineup throwing exclusively to half the strike zone.

Is Tucker still on the team? The disappearing act continues

Of all the players we've seen come and go during this run I'll be the least sad to see Tucker go

It appears his "I'm just doing a job" mentality is good for the 162 grind but when everyone steps it up a notch for the playoffs he's getting left behind more often than not

I think he got way too caught up in that 30/30 nonsense and it's messing with his head still

Key adjustment for games 3 and 4 is not starting Framber.

Start Brantley and Diaz in game 3.

Move Uncle Mike up in the order and drop Tucker.

Dusty actually PH Diaz for Maldy in a middle inning today so maybe we'll see some adjustments for a change

Uncanny that every other pitcher has been able to pitch well v this opponent than Framber so far.

Same story for the ALDS other than that forgettable Nervis appearance.

Feel like they were sitting on Frambers change up. Letting his heater go by. So he was tipping somehow.

I would certainly hope that after going down 0-2 and having zero production in Maldy that he will let Diaz start as a last ditch effort to get our offense going again.

Clearly, Diaz catching had **** all difference with whether we gave up runs since Maldy **** the bed early from Framber, may have actually improved our defensive situation.

Dusty puts WAYYYY too much stock in catchers influencing a game when it's mostly down to the pitchers. Who woulda thought that???

Any predictions on when Tuck's next hit will be? I mean anything. A bloop single, a bunt for a hit, anything. Dude has got to figure something out. And when he figures it out, please share with Tuve.

Come on man,

General observation that certain players seem to be thinking about going yard every AB rather than taking a single.

For Yordan, keep on keeping on but maybe some other guys could benefit from changing their approach

Who had RBIs today? Who of those didn't hit a HR?

Flip Brantley and Tucker in the order. Would've been crazy maybe a month ago but just like Framber being treated as the 2nd starter when he's pitching like a 5th, maybe it's time to make a change

Move Tucker to after Abreu. He had two hard hit at 'em balls today. He's about to come out of his funk.

Honestly would be fine if Framber didn't touch another ball until spring training.

He's been a head case all season. Even more so in the postseason. Nothing to lose by throwing France

And one of the "unearned runs" was his error

I know Dusty won't do it, but Framber is hurting us more than helping us. I wouldn't start him again if given the chance. I'd throw France instead. If I were Dusty, I'd have ALL of my long relievers ready and waiting in the bullpen the next time we throw Framber out there for a start. In the event we're able to push the series that far anyways. Something isn't right whether it's his mechanics, an injury, he's worn out, it's in his head...whatever it is, something isn't right.
